Dear Ms O'Dell,

After having looked at your request more closely, we conclude that it potentially involves a very large number of documents. Therefore we would like to ask you to limit your request by naming the Canadian-headquartered companies that you are most interested in. You will understand that by limiting and specifying your scope you facilitate our work in identifying the documents and eventually sending you a meaningful reply.

Thank you very much for your help on this.

Best regards,
DG Trade

Dear Trade,

Thank you very much for the instructions regarding clarification.

Rather than list specific Canadian-headquartered companies, would narrowing my date search sufficiently limit the scope of this request?

I would like to request documents from November 2014 to present.

If not, please let me know and I will forward a list of companies once I have compiled them.

Yours faithfully,

Alyssa O'Dell

Dear Ms O'Dell,

Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, narrowing the date of the request to "Nov 2014 - today" does limit the request sufficiently.

We shall get back to you as soon as the reply is ready.

Best regards,
DG Trade
