Dear Ms Verheecke,
We refer to your request in “AsktheEU” dated 23/04/2019 in which you make
a request for
· A list of all meetings held between the Indonesian government
and DG Energy, since 1st January 2018, where the EU renewable energy
directive (RED II) was discussed.
· And for any position papers, emails, or other correspondence
which relates to the RED II.
As regards, the first part of your request, there was no bilateral meeting
held with the Indonesian government.
As regards, the correspondence you are asking for, the description given
in your application does not enable us to identify concrete documents,
which would correspond to your request. Indeed, the scope of your request,
“REDII” is too general and too wide to allow us to define what is needed.
Also, we noticed that the reference 2018/3264 in your request is related
to a request addressed to Directorate General ENV.
We therefore invite you, pursuant to Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 regarding public access to documents, to provide us with more
detailed information on the documents which you seek to obtain, such as
references, dates or periods during which the documents would have been
produced, persons or bodies who drafted the documents, subject, etc.
If you need assistance in clarifying or specifying your application, you
can contact us by email to [1][email address]
In accordance with Article 2, third paragraph of the Implementing Rules to
Regulation 1049/2001[2]^^[1], the 15 working days time limit for handling
your application will start running when we receive the requested
clarifications.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Yours sincerely
