Hello,

Please find attached a message concerning your request for access to
Commission documents registered under the above case number 2023/3057.

Kind regards,

Dear Communications Networks, Content and Technology,

Many thanks for your response in which you ask to limit the scope of my request.

I would like point out that the scope of the request is already very targeted. I only ask for documents related to meetings and correspondence with stakeholders and three units within DG Connect on the AI Act starting from 01/01/23.

However to further limit the scope of the request, I would like to specify that the request should only cover documents and correspondence with external stakeholders:

- All documents -including but not limited to e-mails, reports, minutes, etc. - related to meetings between external stakeholders (including companies, think tanks, consultancy firms, trade and industry associations, etc.) and units CNECT.A.1, CNECT.A.2 and CNECT.ADV02 at DG Connect discussing the Artificial Intelligence Act.
- All correspondence including attachments (i.e. any emails, correspondence or telephone call notes) between external stakeholders (including companies, think tanks, consultancy firms, trade and industry associations, etc.) and units CNECT.A.1, CNECT.A.2 and CNECT.ADV02 at DG Connect discussing the Artificial Intelligence Act.

The request covers the period starting from 01/01/23.

If you cannot treat the request within the extended deadline, could you please disclose documents on a rolling basis?

Yours faithfully,

Bram Vranken

Dear Communications Networks, Content and Technology,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Meetings on the AI Act'.

The answer to my request, which was filed on 25/05, is long overdue. I have sent several follow-up mails to DG Connect (on 24/08 and 13/09), but have not received any response to these reminders.

In March 2023 the Ombudsman found that significant delays in dealing with access to documents requests constitutes maladministration. I expect a speedy response to my request.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/meeti...

Yours faithfully,

Bram Vranken
