Meetings with US gov

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- Detailed minutes of the meeting held on January 16th 2019 between Gen. John Shanahan, director of Joint Artificial Intelligence Center at the U.S. Department of Defense and DG Connect representatives. I would request that you also provide me with a list of the individuals present, as well as a breakdown of the issues discussed.
- Detailed minutes of any meeting held in the month of January 2019 between Gen. John Shanahan, director of Joint Artificial Intelligence Center at the U.S. Department of Defense and European Commission officials from other DGs.
- All correspondence (i.e. any emails, correspondence, telephone call notes, and/or text messages including WhatsApp exchanges) between DG CNECT (including Commissioners Vestager, Breton, or Jourova, and any Cabinet representatives) and Mr. Shanahan or a representative of his, over the past year.

We refer to your e-mail dated 17 January 2020 in which you make a request
for access to documents, registered on the same date under the
abovementioned reference number.
By way of your application to DG CONNECT you requested documents which
contain the following information:
1. Detailed minutes of the meeting held on January 16th 2019
between Gen. John Shanahan, director of Joint Artificial Intelligence
Center at the U.S. Department of Defense and DG Connect representatives.
You also requested a list of the individuals present, as well as a
breakdown of the issues discussed.

By your email, dated 19 January 2020, you clarified that you meant January
2020, not 2019. We understand that this clarification concerns both points
1 and 2 of your request. Could you please confirm.
With regard to point 3 of your request, pursuant to Article 6(2) of
Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents we ask
you to clarify the timeframe especially with regard to the Commissioners
and Cabinets. In this respect we would like to draw your attention to the
fact that the portfolios of some of the Commissioners you mentioned are
not related to DG CONNECT or at least were not related for most of the
relevant timeframe. Please note in this regard that we understand that
point 3 of your request concerns correspondence over the past year
counting from the date of your application, namely between 17 January 2019
and 17 January 2020.
