Dear Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- the memorandums of understanding between the European Commission, the ECB and the IMF ('the Troika') and the governments of Greece, Ireland and Portugal.

Yours faithfully,

Olivier Hoedeman

Dear Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN),

I would like to clarify that my request sent earlier this week is not about the actual memorandums with Greece, Ireland and Portugal (which are in the public domain), but about correspondence related to these memorandums.

I would like to request access to all letters (also by email) from European Commissioner Olli Rehn and his cabinet to European Union member state governments since January 1st 2011 concerning the memorandums of understanding between the Commission, the ECB and the IMF (the Troika) and the governments of Greece, Ireland and Portugal.

Please apologise any inconvenience caused by the lack of clarity in my original request.

Yours faithfully,

Olivier Hoedeman

Dear Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN),

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN)'s handling of my FOI request for all letters (also by email) from European Commissioner Olli Rehn and his cabinet to European Union member state governments since January 1st 2011 concerning the memorandums of understanding between the Commission, the ECB and the IMF (the Troika) and the governments of Greece, Ireland and
Portugal.

I submmited my complaint more than two months ago and have still not received any documents. On March 8 I received a reply stating that the deadline would be extended, but without any indication of how long. I find this unsatisfactory and at odds with Regulation 1049/2001.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,

Olivier Hoedeman
