Dear Ms Van Nunen,

 

Your application for access to documents, registered under the above
mentioned reference number, is currently being handled. However, we are
not in a position to complete the handling of your application within the
time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 23/09/2016.

 

An extended time limit is needed for thorough analysis as to the

With regard to your request for access to documents under Regulation
1049/2001, registered under the above mentioned reference number, please
find attached the reply to your request.

 

 

Concerning the first point of your request:

 

1.      
Memos, guidance, guidelines, or training material (or any other document) for SG staff on record creation and/or record keeping. I am particularly interested in documents that refer to creation/keeping  of:  agendas  (diaries  of  public  officials´  engagements),  lists  of  meetings, minutes
of meetings, lists of participants in meetings, and documents justifying
decisions. 

DG ENER follows the corporate document management and archival policy in
the European Commission (e-Domec), as defined by the Secretariat General,
which is available on the Europa website: :

To do so, following the Decision 2002/47/EC, DG ENER has a designated
Document Management officer (DMO) and several Deputy DMOs. Two Document
Management Centres are in place: a central one and a second centre dealing
with documents concerning nuclear domain. They are supported by a local
network of E-Domec correspondants in every unit of DG ENER.

 

There is no guidance to specific type of documents (diaries, meetings),
all official documents are registered, filed and preserved following the
same rules. In addition to the information that you can obtain from the
Secretariat-General, we annex our specific guides for registration:

ENER / DG MOVE [in French]
