Negotiation directives for the planned investment agreement with China

La solicitud fue rechazada por Comercio.

Dear DG Trade,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

I am conducting research regarding the future EU investment policy with the PR China. On October 18, the Ministers of the Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) adopted mandates which will allow the European Commission to negotiate investment agreements with China (among other countries). The Council gave its green light to start negotiations for an EU-China investment agreement on the basis of the negotiating directives proposed by the European Commission in May 2013 (IP/13/458).

I am requesting access to these aforementioned negotiating directives.

Yours faithfully,

Thomas Breetzke
