Dear Budget, Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Österreichischer Aufbau und Resilienzplan 2020-2026'.

As you might know member states governments are required to consult with civil society on the Recovery and Resilience Fund plans. This was done by the Austrian government by establishing an e-mail adress where organisations could send their wish lists. A process like before Christmas writing to Santa Claus far from a structured consultation. Also civil society organisations never received replies or the draft plans.

However civil society needs access to these draft plans to make the consultation process meaningful, being able to see which points have been taken up and which one declined and thereby being able to react again to the draft.

Therefore please reconsider your reply as it is in best interest of the EC to enable meaningful consultations with civil society for the Recovery and Resilience Fund plans.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/oste...
