Dear European Aviation Safety Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
As I am certain you are aware, powerline networking (PLT/PLA/PLC/PLN) results in significant unwanted EMC radiated emissions in both the HF and VHF spectrum; most of the units sold throughout Europe have not protected the aeronautical radio bands.
Please supply the following:
Documents, emails or other details which involve pilots making observations or complaints about radio reception noise, interference or other transmission or reception problems involving either or both the HF or VHF voice-channels or automated systems such as ILS which have been attributed to powerline networking technology or have been suspected of being so.
Thank you for your email.
We have forwarded your request to our experts and we hope to send you a reply as soon as possible.
