Production costs of materials
Dear European Parliament,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
The costs for producing material (in written, audiovisual or other form such as leaflets, pamphlets, children's materials etc) for the distribution, use and benefit of the public who visit the Parliament building.
Please could you provide me with the documents containing these costs for the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. Preferably, if you could find the documents that outline the costs per kind of material (eg leaflet 1, leaflet 2 leaflet 3 etc) that would be great.

Further to your request regarding information about the cost of producing
material for the distribution, use and benefit of the public who visits
the European Parliament (EP) buildings, please find attached the annual
activity reports of DG COMM (the DG responsible for visitors in Brussels,
Strasbourg and local EP offices in the EU member states and Washington).
These documents are part of the annual discharge of the budgetary
procedure; figures for 2012 are not available yet but the same document
will be available on our website once the discharge is voted.
You can follow the process on the Budgetary Control Committee (see link
below); click on 2012 budget discharge and then choose the "European
Parliament" tab:
