REQUESTS FOR ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS - Following the recent cancellation of Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 – Assistants (AST3)
Dear Sir/Madam,
Following the recent cancellation of Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 – Assistants (AST3), in line with Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, I am writing to request access to the following documents:
- The decision of EPSO’s Director to cancel Competition EPSO/AST/154/22
- The document(s) containing the full ‘careful analysis’ which preceded and served as a basis for the decision to cancel Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 (EPSO refers to this ‘careful analysis’ in its letters informing candidates about the cancellation)
- Any other documents containing information related to the EPSO Director’s decision to cancel Competition EPSO/AST/154/22, including but not limited to: internal emails, background/briefing notes or other notes, meeting minutes, exchanges with the European Parliament, the Council of the EU, and the European Commission
- The document(s) containing the advice/opinion/decision of EPSO’s Management Board supporting the cancellation of Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 (EPSO refers to this ‘support of EPSO’s governing body’ in its letters informing candidates about the cancellation)
- Legal advice provided by EPSO’s legal team in relation to the continuation of Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 despite the receipt of numerous complaints from candidates in 2022, as well as any advice provided by EPSO’s legal team concerning the risks linked to the cancellation of Competition EPSO/AST/154/22
- Any communication from EPSO to the European Commission, European Parliament, and the Council of the EU regarding the potential application of the new ‘leaner’ competition model to Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 and the replies of these EU Institutions to this proposal
- The document(s) containing information about the exact amount that has been paid to or that will be paid to the relevant service provider(s) for conducting/delivering the remotely proctored MCQ tests to candidates participating in Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 (i.e. the price paid/payable to the relevant service provider(s) for the testing of all the candidates participating in EPSO/AST/154/22 - 1, EPSO/AST/154/22 - 2, EPSO/AST/154/22 - 3, EPSO/AST/154/22 - 4, EPSO/AST/154/22 - 5, EPSO/AST/154/22 – 6)
