Medio Ambiente ha contestado y dice que tienes que remitir tu solicitud a otra institución.

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
I am requesting documents or information on the placement of Sewage Pumping Stions. eg. Is there any laws or statuts on the distance they can be placed near to built up reidential areas. proposed are the constrction underground of 4 tanks ( each 25 meters wide and 15 meters deep) and an above ground pump house.

Dear Mr Dyell,

Many thanks for your message.

The main piece of EU legislation in relation with the installation of
sewage/wastewater collecting systems is the Directive 91/271/EEC
concerning waste water treatment (see it at
[1]http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexU...).
No particular provision is laid down in the Directive as regards the
proximity of these systems to residential areas. Such systems will
nevertheless be able to deal with the volume and characteristics of urban
waste water, prevent leaks and limit the pollution of receiving waters due
to storm water overflows (see part A of Annex I).

In case your question refers to waste water treatment plants too,
Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public
and private projects on the environment could also be relevant (see it at
[2]http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexU...).
It indicates that waste water treatment plants with a capacity exceeding
150 000 population equivalent shall be made subject to an environmental
impact assessment (please let allow me to insist: this provision applies
to treatment plants). If the load is lower, it has to be decided by the
authorities whether shall be made subject to such an assessment.

Should you consider that the information above is not what you were
looking for, please let me know.

Dear Environment (ENV),
Further to my request about the distance that sewage collection tanks and pumping station may be situated to the proximity of residential dwellings.
I thank you for the documentation that you sent.
It has taken to now to read through it in detail and I have to report that the information contained in the documentation does not address my question.
Please will you let me know in straight, concise and simple terms the answer to my original question.
I would appreciate an answer like eg....
Tanks may be situated within..100mtrs or 200mtrs or 500mtrs or whatever the correct distance is by law.
The proposed tanks in my case will be situated very close to residential dwellings ( approx containing 2,000 people) and a hospital.
I hope you will oblige with a pertinent answer.
Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,

Christopher Dyell

Dear Mr Dyell,

Let me repeat what I said in my previous email: there is no provision in
the EU legislation concerning waste water for the distance between what
you describe as pumping systems and residential areas.

Allow me to say that this kind of questions is usually defined at
national, regional or local levels.
