Dear DG Competition,

there are no valid procedural requirements that allow an institution to refuse registration of an access to documents request pending the provision of a postal address. I refer you to the Decision of the Ombudsman in in case 682/2014/JF: https://www.ombudsman.europa.eu/de/cases...

Secondly, the European Commission is aware of my postal address in the European Parliament.

Yours faithfully,

Julia Reda

Dear Competition,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'The economics of online news aggregation and neighbouring rights for news publishers'.

The Commission is claiming that no information could be found at DG Competition matching the request. This is not plausible given the fact that at least one Email was sent to DG Competition on October 25, 2016 (see also: Ref. Ares(2017)6256585 )

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/the_...

Yours faithfully,

Julia Reda
