Travel expense savings
Dear European Parliament,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
MEPs were unable to travel during much of the confinement. I am requesting information that reveals how much was saved in terms of unspent budgets on travel costs from March until June this year.
Yours faithfully,
Nikolaj Nielsen

Dear Mr Nielsen,
The attached decision of 4 August 2020 in reply to your application A(2020)7398 concerning travel expenses savings was sent to you by post on the same day. But it was returned to us by the postal services, apparently, it was sent to you twice and you did not pick it up on either occasions. In such circumstances, Parliament will only consider your below email as a confirmatory application when and if you complement it with arguments in reply to the attached initial decision.
Can you please acknowledge reception of this email?
Kind regards, and a nice day,

Dear AccesDocs,
I would just like to point, and for future reference, that the mail address I gave you was:
EUobserver
Avenue d'Auderghem / Oudergemlaan 150
1040 Brussels
Belgium
And not:
Nikolaj Nielsen
Avenue d'Auderghem / Oudergemlaan 150
1040 Brussels
Belgium
Which probably explains why it was never delivered.
Yours sincerely,
Nikolaj Nielsen
Dear Mr Nielsen, thank you to precise that.
Indeed, the address that was indicated, contained EU Observer, but it followed your name, detail that, probably, has given space to a human error.
