WP29 Data Portability request for opinions
Dear Justice and Consumers,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I wish to address a request to the Working Party 29, which I understand is listed in the register of Commission expert groups as ART29WP:
http://ec.europa.eu/transparency/regexpe...
More specifically, I am requesting access to any document the Working Party 29 might have received in response to its request for comments to the "Guidelines on data portability" the WP 29 has published here:
http://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/just/item-d...
Presumably those communications would have arrived as requested at [email address] or through the CNIL at [email address], but my request is not limited to documents which arrived through these channels.
My goal is to understand the diversity of opinions around this Right to Portability, and the different dimensions of this problem to be considered. I wish to access raw documents to make my own opinion, beyond the consensus-driven guidelines that were published, and the summary of the "consultation" results that will presumably be made public.
Yours faithfully,
Paul-Olivier Dehaye
