Dear Ms Balanya, 
In your e-mail of 8 December 2021, you requested information on Hydrogen 
2021-II, invoking the Government Information (Public Access) Act (Wet 
openbaarheid van bestuur; Wob). 
The information you requested concerned the following: 
‘A list of meetings that representatives and employees of  the Permanent 
Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the European Union had with 
representatives of companies, organisations and other stakeholders, during the last 
6 months, in which the issue of hydrogen was discussed. 
I would like to know who was present at the meeting, including the names of 
organisations/ lobbyists presents, as well as the date of the meeting, and the subject 
matter discussed, and get the minutes of these meetings.’ 
The decision was postponed by four weeks on 23 December 2021. 
Statutory framework 
Your application falls within the scope of the Government Information (Public 
Access) Act.  
In response to your application, one document has been found, namely an email 
message containing the minutes of a meeting between a representative of the 
Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the European Union 
and a representative of Solar Power Europe on the renewable energy directive (RED 
II). This meeting took place on 22 June 2021. On 8 June 2021 there also was a 
meeting on the issue of hydrogen with Gasunie, but of this meeting no document 
was found.

I have decided to partly grant your application and to partially disclose the document 
that was found.  
In the document you will not find the names of the persons who were present at 
the meeting. I do not disclose this information in respect of personal privacy, on the 
ground of section 10, subsection 2, opening words and (e) of the Government 
Information (Public Access) Act. 
Manner of disclosure 
The document is digitally enclosed with this decision. 
The partly disclosed document will be published on www.rijksoverheid.nl, so that 
the document can be accessed by everyone.
