In relation to your question on how many projects have been funded by the Horizon 2020
programme to date, please refer to the data in the link indicated above. The data on
signed grant agreements varies every day and is being updated in CORDIS website and
the EU open data portal usually on a monthly basis only after a quality control (last
update published on 01/06/2017).
Finally in reply to your question on when does the consortium/researcher receive the
grant, according to Article 21.2 of the general model grant agreement the Commission or
the Agency
will make a first pre-financing payment to the coordinator within 30 days,
either from the entry into force of the Agreement or from 10 days before the starting date
of the action, whichever is the latest, except if a suspension of payments applies (Article
48 of general model grant agreement). Further information on payments can be found in
pages 191 and following of the annotated model grant agreement in the link
