(Onefinestay).
About the company:
Onefinestay is a UK headquartered hospitality platforms that gives users the chance to stay in someone’s
home while their owners are out of town for a short‐term period (average 6 nights). It was launched in 2010
in London and it expanded to New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Rome (starting from June 2016). Recently the
company was bought by AccorHotels.
They already met
, are in contact with CAB Bienkowska and
(GROW F4).
Purpose of the meeting:
Onefinestay wanted to introduce the company, to highlight the main features of its business model, to explain the
various single market barriers the company is experiencing as well as having some insights on the upcoming
guidance.
Main points discussed:
Price policy and fees:
Applicable regulations and taxes:
Willing to expand the companies in Europe and behind:
Onefinestay expressed its support for the upcoming Commission's guidance on collaborative economy. They
stressed the need for clarity and calls to avoid the fragmentation of the single market. They would not want
to see the Commission supporting regulatory approaches that limit properties rentals based on maximum
number of days, or primary and secondary residences. Not proportionate.
