Dear Mr Omidiran,
We refer to your communication dated 12/03/2020 in which you make a request for access to
documents, registered under the above-mentioned reference number.
You will find enclosed all documentation, including but not limited to attendance lists,
agendas, background papers, minutes/notes and email correspondence about or summarising,
the meetings between Diederik Samsom and European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic)
regarding the European Green Deal on 13/01/2020 and between Diederik Samsom and
ArcelorMittal (AM) regarding the European Green Deal and industry on 08/01/2020. Your
request also encompassed a meeting between Diederik Samsom and Eurelectric aisbl
(Eurelectric) regarding the European Green Deal on 21/01/2020, but we have found no
documents pertaining to such a meeting.
Please note that some of the documents contain personal data that has been redacted
according to the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/17251) and to the
internal rules of procedure of the Commission. As your request does not express any particular
interest to have access to these personal data, and does not establish the necessity to have the data
transmitted, I conclude that access cannot be granted to these personal data.
