Subject: Speaking request: German Chemical Industry (15 January)
Dear Mr Hager,
I am contacting you on behalf of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), representing 1700
companies from the chemical and pharmaceutical sector which have a combined turnover of 200 billion
euros.
We would like to invite you – or a cabinet colleague of you – to the next meeting of our
Political Committee
Brussels on
15 January 2020 between 9:30 and 13:00 to give a presentation on the European Commission’s
announced key actions regarding the
Green Deal and the importance for the European (chemical) industry.
We plan your session to last
one hour at your convenience. The Political Committee brings together the heads of offices of leading German companies, like e.g. Bayer,
BASF, Evonik, Henkel and Wacker, and is key in defining the association’s position on EU issues.
The meeting will take place in the
House of German Business, 2nd floor, meeting room 201, rue Marie de
Bourgogne 58, 1000 Brussels. Could you please let us know if this date and what time would suit you?
We remain at your disposal for any question you may have. Thank you very much for your reply.
With kind regards,
GERMAN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION – VCI
