Dear Madam,
We refer to your request for access to documents of 20 May 2021, registered on 21 May
2021 under the above-mentioned reference number.
You requested the following:
“- email correspondence (including attachments) between the Recovery and Resilience
(RECOVER) taskforce and American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union
(AmCham EU), McKinsey & Company, and/or McKinsey Global Institute, that discusses
healthcare (e.g. eHealth, digitalisation of healthcare, hospitals, health sector reform, patients
choice, crossborder healthcare, healthcare service markets, integrated care etc) and/or long-
term care (e.g. elderly care, residential care homes, etc) since 16 August 2020;
- a list of all meetings between the Recovery and Resilience taskforce (RECOVER) and
American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU), McKinsey &
Company, and/or McKinsey Global Institute, that covered the topics of healthcare and/or
long-term care since 16 August 2020;
- minutes of those meetings.”
We have examined the files of SG.RECOVER in relation to the elements of your request
that concern the Recovery and Resilience Facility. We consider your request to cover
documents held up to the date of your initial application, i.e. 20 May 2021.
We have identified one document falling within the scope of your application:
– 26 October 2020 – Exchange of e-mails regarding request for a meeting with American
Chamber of Commerce to the EU to discuss their position paper [exchange and the
Annex registered under Ares(2020)5937311], hereafter “document 1”
