Dear PAD,

What email address should I send my identification document to? Would a scanned copy be sufficient?

In regards to my request, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency requested that I narrow down my request so that they could focus on Serious Incident Reports that would best suit my needs, because the amount of documents for the period 2014 to 2016 is quite extensive.

Is it possible to narrow the request by asking for only those Serious Incident Reports that include references to merchant ships, in any of the following three categories, 1) reporting unit/person, 2) original informant, 3) fact of the case.

Considering the different references to merchant ships this request would include mention of any reference to merchant ships, commercial ships, MV, M/V, mv, m/v, or specific merchant ship name.

Thanks very much for your timely response and please let me know if you need anything else to process this request.

Yours sincerely,

Ute Gerbershagen
