Dear Mr. Papetti,

We refer to your request for access to documents, initially registered on
16 May 2022 under the reference number Ref. GESTDEM 2022/2757. We
apologise for the delay and for any inconvenience it may have caused.

By email of 9 June 2022, we explained to you that an extended time limit
is needed for the purpose of internal consultations with 15 working days
in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expired on 30 June 2022.

On 30 June 2022, we informed you that due to internal consultations the
reply to your request was taking longer to be processed.

We used the email address as per your initial request; we note that all
these communications are published in the corresponding webpages
[1]https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/acti... .

Please note that the Commission is not responsible for this external
website. As an alternative to this website, you may use a personal email
address where all the communications would be addressed.

We are afraid that the reply to your request for access to documents has
required longer than usual due to internal consultations as it concerns a
large number of documents (35 documents). However, it has been drafted and
is pending approval by DG NEAR's hierarchy.

We are confident that you will receive a reply shortly.

Yours sincerely,
