Budget n'avait pas les informations demandées.

Dear Budget,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

For the period between November 2020 to April 2021:

- a list of all meetings and/or calls held by the Directorate-General for Budget, including any Cabinet Members of the Commissioner Johannes Hahn and/or officials, during which the Italian Resilience and Recovery Plan was discussed together with any members of the Italian government.

The list should include: date, individuals attending and organisational affiliation, as well as the issues discussed;

- all minutes and other reports of these meetings and/or calls;

- all documents prepared for the purpose of the meetings issued both in preparation and after the meetings took place.
- all correspondence, including attachments (i.e. any emails, mail correspondence or telephone call notes) between the Directorate-General for Budget, including any Cabinet Members of the Commissioner Johannes Hahn and/or officials, and any members of the Italian government discussing the Italian PNRR.

To the extent possible, I prefer the documents in electronic format.
Should my request be denied wholly or partially, I kindly request to explain the denial or all redactions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I would expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Please confirm receipt of this application. I look forward to receiving your reply within 15 business days, as established by the regulation.

Yours faithfully,

Carlotta Indiano

According to standard operational procedures, the reply is usually also sent to you by registered post. Please note, however, that due to the extraordinary health and security measures currently in force during the COVID-19 epidemic, which includes the requirement for all Commission non-critical staff to telework, we are unfortunately not in a position to send the letter to you by post until further notice.

We would therefore appreciate if you could confirm your receipt of this e-mail by replying to: [DG BUDG request email]

Yours faithfully,

Dear Budget,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'All the meetings and discussions regarding the Italian Resilience and Recovery Plan' registered on 22 December 2021 under reference number GestDem 2022/0032.

I confirm I received your e-mail on 25 January 2022.

In your answer, Mr Gert Jan Koopman wrote that "the Commission is not in a position to fulfil my request as no meetings or discussions were held between Commissioner Hahn, members or his cabinet, staff of the Commission Directorate-General for Budget and members of the Italian government about the Italian Resilience and Recovery Plan".

Nevertheless, I would like to ask you if there is a list of documents exchanged in electronic form or by mail between the Directorate-General for Budget, including any Cabinet Members of the Commissioner Johannes Hahn and any members of the Italian government for the period between November 2020 to April 2021

If you have such a list or there is any other correspondence between the DG Budet and the Italian government, I would like to have access to those documents.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/all_...

Than you very much
Yours faithfully,

Carlotta Indiano
