Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Any document that relates to the assessment of applications submitted to the High Level Expert Group on Fake News and Online Disinformation.

Any documents that relates to the selection of the members of the High Level Expert Group on Fake News and Online Disinformation.

I would like to include all communication between Member States in this request.

I would also like to include the cover letters submitted by applicants to the High Level Group.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 02/05/2018.

An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns a large
