Dear Mr Haar,

We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 07/07/2023 under case number 2023/3932.

We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the

we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new

To DG ECFIN's Access to Documents Team.

Thank you for the reply to the request for documents registered on 07/07/2023 under case number 2023/3932, received on 4 September.

During the correspondance, including an email received on 4 September, you state that the documents received at this point constitute an inital reply, ie. that you are still processing further documents. However, the cover letter seems to indicate that I have received all documents.

Can you tell me if I am to expect more documents? And if not, why the list of meetings I asked for in the request is not included, and generally why further documents, if any, are left out of the batch?

Yours sincerely,

Kenneth Haar

Dear Mr Haar,

Regulation 1049/2001 provides for a possible two stage-procedure (an initial and a potential confirmatory application).
The term initial reply reflects this. Thus, the initial reply constitutes a definitive answer to your request following a review of the documents we (the Access to Documents Team) receive from the concerned services in DG ECFIN.
Regarding your concrete request, we do not keep any specific list of meetings with Business Europe, that fits the description you provided.
However, the transparency register is open for public consultation. To give you a full picture, please find a link to the public profile of Business Europe on the transparency register's website, where you can find a list of their meetings with the European Institutions. (https://ec.europa.eu/transparencyregiste...) (Identification number in the register: 3978240953-79)

We hope this answer proves helpful to you!
If not, do not hesitate to come back to us.

Yours sincerely,
ECFIN Access to Documents Team
