La demande est partiellement réussie.

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Based on the CHAP description provided in this Commission document under point 4: Information collected (https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/2349...),
please send me all entries in the CHAP ('Complaints Handling – Accueil des Plaignants') database referring to legal entities, including their names, the subject of correspondence, the member state‘s concerned and facts showing how the Member State is in infringement of European Union law. Please exclude any personal information regarding addresses, telephone or fax numbers and email addresses. If possible please provide the required information in the format of xlsx, csv or json.

CHAP represents a key instrument, which aims at preventing formal infringement procedures through cooperation between Member State institutions and the EU authorities. It is essential for the functioning of the European Single Market. Thus, there is a clear public interest in the disclosure of these information, in order for citizens to better comprehend the democratic decision making process. The transparency rules as set out in the Lisbon Treaty oblige the EU institutions to work as openly and as closely as possible to citizens.

Yours faithfully,

Moritz Neujeffski
