Communication on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Any study, impact assessment, forecast, paper or other document received from (or representatives from) EuropaBio, Monsanto, Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta, BASF, COPA COGECA or Cargill concerning or mentioning negotiations for a EU-Ukraine Association Agreement between juni 2011 and march 2014.

- a list of meetings including detailed minutes and any other reports of such meetings between DG TRADE's officials (including the Commissioner and his Cabinet members) and (or representatives from) EuropaBio, Monsanto, Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta, BASF, COPA COGECA or Cargill concerning or mentioning a EU-Ukraine Association Agreement between juni 2011 and march 2014.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Dear Mr Wetzels,

 

We refer to your e-mail  dated 17/01/2018 in which you make a request for
access to documents. It was registered on the same day under reference
GestDem 2018/0385.

 

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 07/02/2018.

 

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 28/02/2018.

 

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
