Dear Mr Dohle,

You are requesting access, under Article 15(3) TFEU as implemented by
Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European
Parliament, Council and Commission documents, to "correspondence received
by the Commission both from Members of the European Parliament and
citizens/associations, in the period between 1/1/2006 and 1/6/2010 to
which this study was a follow-up".

Your request has been attributed to the Civil Justice Policy Unit.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 1 July 2013. An extended time
limit is needed as your application involves different Units of
Directorate General Justice and an extensive research is needed. Moreover,
part of the documents requested may originate from third parties which
have to be consulted.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit in accordance with Article
7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents.
The new time limit expires on 23 July 2013.

Best regards,
