Dear Ms. Porter,

We refer to your email  dated 01/10/2020, in which you make a request for
information / access to documents.

DG competition does not hold any  documents related to your request, as
the figures and data you are mentioning could be extracted from the
database which is publicly available.

You can extract the figures from our databases of all Competition cases
started during the last 5 years by Directorate General of Competition,
broken down by policy areas

The Search engine on competition cases (all policy areas) can be found
under the link:  [3]http://ec.europa.eu/competition/elojade/...

The tables you mention can also be created according to your request.

For State Aid Cases you could extract the cases notified by Member States
(N) and  those cases that fall under the General block Exemption
Regulation (GBER) (X).

A breakdown by by Member State can only be extracted for State Aid cases,
as cases related to Antitrust and Mergers could be related to several
Member States.

You have also available in this link, all Reports on Competition Policy,
published annually. They provide detailed information on the most
important policy and legislative initiatives, and on decisions adopted by
the European Commission in application of EU competition law during the
previous years.

Dear Competition,

Many thanks for your response.

In previous years you have provided the data in a usable table as you did in Ref GestDem 2019/0683.

Unfortunately I cannot attach the response on this portal but I can send it to an email address if necessary.

Would it be possible to get the data asked for in this format? It isn't obvious how to pull out the data needed e.g. Number of state aid cases by notification date - the portal doesn't allow to export data by notification date.

Yours faithfully,

Megan Porter
