Consultation and Notification of the German "NetzDG" law
Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
On March 27, 2017, the German government sent a notification to the European Commission regarding the Gesetz zur Verbesserung der Rechtsdurchsetzung in sozialen Netzwerken (NetzDG). The Notification number is 2017/127/D.
I am requesting all information, including internal and interservice commication of the European Commission regarding or in connection with this law.
I want to make sure that I am explicitly seeking any information the Commission has regarding this law and the notification process and I do not want this request to be limited to information that was registered as "not shortlived" or "not unimportant". This request should therefor contain also shortlived information such as drafts, inter-agency communication and memos.
Yours faithfully,
Julia Reda
