Your application concerns the following document/documents:
- Any reference to or documentation on minutes, notes, papers and other
types of documents that include any form of contact between Commissioner

Industrialists on contractual arrangements between Member States and the

We regret to inform you that no documents were found that would correspond
to the description given in your request. We are, therefore, unable to
handle your application.
DG ECFIN has regular contact with BusinessEurope in the context of the
Macroeconomic Dialogue meeting at technical level. However, the issue of
contractual arrangements between Member States and the Commission has not
been on the agenda of any meeting. Moreover, in respect of the
confidentiality of the Dialogue there are no papers, notes or other types
of documents available, and no minutes are taken.
The present letter is related only to documents in possession of the DG
ECFIN. We have informed the Cabinet of Vice President Rehn of your request
and our reply.
In accordance with Article 7.2 of Regulation 1049/2001, you are entitled
to make a confirmatory application requesting the Commission to review its
position.
Such a confirmatory application should be addressed within 15 working days
upon receipt of this letter to the Secretary-General of the Commission at
