I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis. At no point should the search for—or deliberations concerning—certain documents delay the production of others that were retrieved and elected to produce.

To the extent possible, I prefer the documents in electronic format. If you need a postal address to process the request, please send me an e-mail address to which i could send you this information.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption.
Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation.

Thank you very much in advance,
Ronja Heise

Représentation permanente du Royaume-Uni auprès de l'UE

Dear Ronja,

Thank you for your e-mail. Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 relates to public
access of European Parliament, Council and Commission documents. If you
would like to make a request under the provisions of this Regulation I
therefore suggest that you contact the relevant EU institution.

Alternatively, if you would like to submit a request for information from
the UK Government under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000, then
please feel free to do so.  You can write to the Foreign and Commonwealth
Office at: foi-dpa.imd.fco.gov.uk.

You will wish to note that an organisation can refuse a FOI request if it
will cost more than £450 (£600 for central government) to find and extract
the information.  Therefore if you decided to proceed with an FOI request,
you may want to consider refining down the scope of your request, both in
terms of the timescale and the number of third party organisations
covered.  Please also note that the FOI Act does not provide for
information to be supplied on a rolling basis.

Guidance on submitting an FOI request is available at:
[1]https://www.gov.uk/make-a-freedom-of-inf...

Kind regards,

UKREP
