Correspondence between Wolfgang Plasa and Thierry de Saint Maurice
Dear European External Action Service,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- all correspondence related to the 11 December 2007 bomb attack in Algiers near the Delegations premises and the following security discussion at the Delegation (including letters, email, minutes of meetings and phone calls) between the Head of Delegation of the European Commission to Algeria Wolfgang Plasa and the Director General RELEX Thierry de Saint Maurice in 2007 and 2008.
- specifically the note sent by Wolfgang Plasa to Thierry de Saint Maurice on 15 January 2008 in which Wolfgang Plasa is asking for an early transfer to another Delegation due to the worsening security situation in Algeria.
