Dear Mr Gaffney,
On Saturday 21 August 2021, you send two request for public access to
European Parliament documents concerning UFOs, documents sent to the
President, and documents sent to the PETI Committee. Both requests were
registered under one application reference number : A(2021)6815.
The Parliament assessed the documents it holds.
Neither the President of the European Parliament nor his office do
currently hold mails relevant to your request.
However, the PETI committee received a petition concerning UFO sightings.
The petition was declared inadmissible by the Committee on Petitions on 10
May 2021 on the ground that it concerned "matters seemingly not coming
within the Union’s fields of activity (List 3)". And Parliament found that
the petition can be disclosed, with the signature of the applicant edited
out, on the ground that the its disclosure to the public is not permitted
under the rules on the protection of personal data Regulation EU
2018/1725. Please find it attached.
Besides, the document recording the dismissal of the application is
publicly available under this link:
[1]https://www.europarl.europa.eu/petitions...
Both documents are being uploaded on Parliament's Public Register of
Documents
In view of the foregoing, Parliament considers your application file as
handled and closes the file. Please do not hesitate to file a new
application if you wish to be granted access to other specific Parliament
documents.
Kind regards,

Dear European Parliament,
I know for a fact that the European Parliament recieved by correspondence address to the EU President Mr David Maria Sassoli. my correspondence was not returned by post.
I wish to inform you that I had a similar reply from the EDA earlier this year . they also denied recieviing my letters , on review they retracted that statement and complied with my FOIA request.
I wish to inform Mr Sassoli that it is his lawful duty to reply to my FOIA request.
I will take legal action against the EU Parliament.
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Correspondence regarding UAPs/UFOs to Mr David Maria Sassoli President of the European Parliament'.
A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/corr...
Yours faithfully,
Chris Gaffney
Dear Mr Gaffney,
On 21 August 2021, you requested all documents on the subject of UAPs/UFOs
sent to Mr David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament.
On 4 October 2021, we informed you that neither the President of the
European Parliament nor his office do currently hold mails relevant to
your request.
On 5 October 2021, you informed us that you yourself had sent a letter on
this topic to the President of the European Parliament and that you wish
to receive this letter from us. You also pointed out that the President of
the European Parliament did not answer your letter.
Upon further research, we located two documents that relate to your
request. You find them in the attachments. Please not that minor personal
data has been redacted from the documents.
The reason why we originally did not locate them was that it had been
assigned to the AskEP service. This services provided a reply to you
(attachment 1). This was also considered to be a reply to your letter to
the President of the European Parliament. Therefore, you did not receive a
separate reply from him personally.
On this basis, Parliament considers your application as handled and the
file closed.
Kind regards,

Dear AccesDocs,
I do not accept your responce as legitimate. I note from your reply you consider my application closed. As you are aware "consider" is an opinion and not a legal/lawful term. therefore, with the above in mind can you legally confirm that David Maria Sassoli President of the European has never received a briefing or /and documents/memos/letters/emails correspondence by electrical mean or other on UAP/UFOs. Please be advise that it is a serious offence to return a false reply to my FOI request.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Gaffney
