Dear International Cooperation and Development,
I hope this e-mail finds you well.
My name is Beatriz Duarte and I am a Political Science Master Student at Université libre de Bruxelles. I am conducting research about the decision-making process of the creation of the project "PIMI - Reducing Maternal and Child Mortality" in Guinea-Bissau. It consists of a public policy analysis, and I am trying to understand why maternal health was considered as an intervention priority in Guinea-Bissau.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- Why was maternal health considered an intervention priority in Guinea-Bissau;
- How was this intervention defined; which maternal and child health topics were covered and why;
- Evaluation of the situation in Guinea-Bissau by the EU.
I thank you so much in advance for your cooperation.
