DG Connect training for European judges and regulators by an organisation funded by Amazon, Google, Meta, etc.
Dear colleagues,
I would be grateful to you for a reply to this query.
The "Centre for a Digital Society" has announced that it is running free training for european judges and regulators on behalf of DG Connect. The relevant web page is https://digitalsociety.eui.eu/course/sem...
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
-- The Unit at DG Connect that approved this.
-- The process of approval.
-- Information about any safeguards put in place by DG Connect to ensure that the free training of European judges and regulators was not influenced by the Centre’s major donors (Amazon, Google, Meta, etc.).
-- Number of judges and regulators trained so far.
I would be grateful for your reply in electronic format. My postal address is
