Documents on sharing economy (AirBnB and others)

Dear Communications Networks, Content and Technology,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1) a list of meetings (from 1. January 2015 till today) of Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, members of her cabinet or representatives of DG CNECT AND representatives of the European Holiday Home Association, Sharing Economy, European Collaborative Economy Forum, European Digital Media Association and AirBnB.

2) minutes and other reports of these meetings;

3) all correspondence with entities listed above, including emails from 1. January 2015 till today).

In case my description is not sufficiently precise, I hereby would like to ask you to assist me in further clarifying the application according to regulation 1049/01 article
6.2.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial
release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6. I reserve the right to appeal.

Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 working days, according to the regulation.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Documents on sharing economy (AirBnB and others)', GestDem 2017/5430 .

The request was filed on 19 September, and on that day, I was informed I would received the documents by 10 October. Since then, I have asked for replies on two occasions - on 16 November and two days ago, 5 December. No response whatsoever.

accordance with Article 7(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents
(‘Regulation 1049/2001’).

 

Your confirmatory applications are currently being handled. Unfortunately,
due to ongoing consultations, we are not in a position to reply to your
confirmatory requests within the prescribed time limit that expires on 9
January 2018.

 

Consequently, we have to extend this period by another 15 working days in
accordance with Article 8(2) of Regulation 1049/2001. The new deadline
expires on 30 January 2018.
