Documents produced in cases C-156/21 and C-157/21
Dear European Parliament,
On 16 February 2022, the Court of Justice delivered its judgments in cases Hungary v Parliament and Council (C-156/21) and Poland v Parliament and Council (C-157/21).
The Parliament was a party to these proceedings. As a result, it is in possession of all relevant documents produced by the Court and other parties to these proceedings.
Therefore, with regard to the mentioned cases, on the basis of the second sentence of Article 11(1) and Article 42 of the Charter, and Article 2(1) of the Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting:
— the main applications lodged by Hungary and Poland;
— any document produced by the Court or the President of the Court, such as decisions and orders;
— any document produced by the Parliament and other parties or interveners, such as applications, letters and written observations.
I am also requesting that these documents be sent in their original language, and also in English if the Parliament has a translation in that language.

Dear Mr Wachowiec,
The deadline for replying to your application concerning public access to
documents under [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 registered on 21/03/2022
expires on 11/04/2022.
However, due to the fact that the consultation with the many third parties
involved (other institutions and Member States) and the detailed analysis
of all legal aspects linked to the possible disclosure of the large amount
of identified documents are still ongoing, in order to reply to your
application Parliament exceptionally needs to extend the time-limit
provided for in Article 7(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 by a further
15 working days, in accordance with Article 7(3) of the same regulation.
