Dear Secretariat General (SG),
Dear Mrs Glover,
Dear Mrs Speer,

Thank you for your reply and the documents you sent.

I have one question for you. The 17 June email (Annex 2 to reply Horel 30 Aug2013.pdf) contained three attachments. In the second one (Commentary - UK views on the issue of whether or not a threshold can be determined for endocrine disruptors identified as Substances of Very High Concern under REACH), one paragraph is blackened (bottom of 4th page). Would you be so kind as to tell me whether it was so in the original attached document, or whether your services blackened it? If it is the second option, could you please give me the reason?

Thank you for your help.
Yours faithfully,

Stéphane Horel

Dear Ms Horel,
I checked the issue, as we certainly have not blackened anything.
I send you enclosed the original mail as we received it from Professor Dekant.
As you will see, in the original pdf this paragraph has a red background. Probably when merging the attachments into one pdf for sending them to you the software blackened it for some technical reason. Apologies for this.
With best wishes
Jan Marco Müller

Dear Secretariat General (SG),
Dear Mr Müller,

Thank you very much for taking the time to make this useful clarification! Indeed the paragraph highlighted in red became black in the scanner.

Before I close this access to document request, I would like to ask you whether Mrs Glover received any reply to her 20 June note to Karl Falkenberg. If it is the case, could you please provide it?

Thank you for your help.
