ECB data on climate risk disclosure
Dear European Central Bank,
On 15 March 2022, the Financial Times reported that ECB found that "none of the 109 lenders it oversees meets its climate risk disclosure expectations," and quoted an ECB executive board member on the issue.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- All documents produced during 2022 by ECB that discuss the level to which lenders meet ECB climate risk disclosure expectations, including but not limited to internal memos, board briefing documents, and meeting minutes
- All datasets produced during 2022 by ECB that details the level to which lenders meet ECB climate risk disclosure expectations, including line-by-line data on the performance of each of the 109 lenders
Yours faithfully,
Till Bruckner
