EDPS interventions before the EU Courts

La demande est réussie.

Mr. Aris KOLIMATSIS

Dear European Data Protection Supervisor,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

This application is inspired by the intervention of the EDPS in the case of the EU Civil Service Tribunal F 46-09 V v European Parliament and the Bavarian Lager case before the General Court and the Court of Justice.

Copies of the following documents are kindly requested:

1. The invitations, if any, by EU Courts to the EDPS to intervene in legal actions before them up to 23/1/2014.

2. The document(s) with the EDPS intervention in the case F 46-09 V v European Parliament.

3. The document(s) with the EDPS intervention in the case of Bavarian Lager, in both the General Court and the Court of Justice.

Concerning request (2) it is expected that the EDPS will
grant access to the documents, redacting only what is strictly necessary to comply with article 4(1)(b) of Regulation 1049/2001.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Aris KOLIMATSIS
