Dear Budget,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

– A country-level description on each Member State contribution to the EU budget by year from 2000 to 2020 –as well the total budget amount– in euros (PPS if possible), and percentage of total budget.
– A country-level description on EU budget expenditure by Member State by year from 2000 to 2020 –as well the total budget amount– in euros (PPS if possible), and percentage of total budget.
– A country-level description on EU budget expenditure by Member State AND purpose (each purpose in each year), by year from 2000 to 2020 –as well the total budget amount– in euros (PPS if possible), and percentage of total budget.

Extensive data can be found in the ‘internet tables’ on Europa

 

An [6]interactive chart on the Europa website presents the information on
spending and revenue for each year between 2000 and 2020  by year and by
country. The charts as well as the underlying data allow for a detailed
search for information on expenditure, including by MFF heading, programme
and sub-programme. Data since 2000 can be downloaded as Excel documents at
the end of the website. Data for the years prior to 2000 can be found in
the [7]Financial Report 2008.
