Dear European External Action Service,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1) all correspondence (including email, SMS, private twitter and WhatsApp) since 1st January 2021 between the Head of the European Union Delegation to Kuwait (until recently Cristian Tudor) and/or officials from the delegation with external stakeholders (such as companies and industry associations or civil society organisations), in which the issue of hydrogen was discussed.

2) any briefings prepared for the Head of the European Union Delegation to Kuwait (until recently Cristian Tudor) and/or officials from the delegation for meetings since 1st January 2021 with external stakeholders (such as companies and industry associations or civil society organisations), in which the issue of hydrogen was discussed.

3) list of meetings since 1st January 2021 between the Head of the European Union Delegation to Kuwait (until recently Cristian Tudor) and/or officials from the delegation with external stakeholders (such as companies and industry associations or civil society organisations), in which the issue of hydrogen was discussed.

4) minutes of the meetings mentioned above.

I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis.
At no point should the Commission’s search for—or deliberations concerning—certain documents delay the production of others that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.

To the extent possible, I prefer the documents in electronic format. Documents that cannot be sent in electronic format should be sent to Corporate Europe Observatory, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, 1050 Brussels.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

I reserve the right to appeal.

Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation.

Please find my postal address here: Corporate Europe Observatory, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, Brussels 1050.

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Pia Eberhardt
