EU payments to Ukraine in autumn 2013

La demande a été rejetée par International Cooperation and Development.

Dear Development & Cooperation - EuropeAid (DEVCO),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information: did DG Devco make a payment of €88 million to Ukraine on or after 27 November 2013 in line with a decision by commissioner Fuele/under the EU's neighbourhood policy?

As a journalist, this information is important to me because I am researching a story on how the EU institutions are handling the Ukraine crisis.

I believe our readers/EU taxpayers have a right to know how their money is being spent in terms of EU foreign policy.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Rettman
