Dear Ms Martì,
As a preliminary remark, Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, of which you availed yourself by submitting your application, only applies to the documents of the institutions. And in this regard, it has to be stressed upon that an information which can be extracted from a database of the Parliament without any reprogramming of the database is to be considered as a document that may be requested. However, Parliament is not otherwise bound to establish an information for the purpose of replying to an application for access to documents.
All events directly related to the parliamentary activity are recorded in minutes, which are published on Parliament's Public Register of Documents. The minutes record the MEPs and the representatives of the European Commission who attended the event along with other participants. The register's search engine allows you to track all the documents of the register with the names of the organisations on which you seek information and narrow down the result to specific document types, such as minutes.
This is the link to the search engine of Parliament's Public Register of Documents:
http://www.europarl.europa.eu/RegistreWe...
However, Parliament does not hold a list of all the events within its premises attended by the organisations you list in your application. And it would not be in a position to establish such a list.
Indeed, MEPs may meet organisations without reporting it to Parliament's administration. Recently, on 31 January, that Parliament modified its rules of procedures and required that MEPs who act as rapporteurs, shadow rapporteurs or committee chairs publish their scheduled meetings with interest representatives on their respective webpages. However, the other MEPs remain free to publish or not such information.
In view of the foregoing, Parliament considers your application as handled and closes the file. However, please do not hesitate to submit a new application should you be interested in accessing a specific document of the European Parliament.
Sincerely,
TU
