Extension of LPR level 4 requalification period to 4 years
Dear European Aviation Safety Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
In a written reply to an inquiry made in 2012 (CPA/xfi/R(3)2012D54959) regarding the process EASA entered into regarding regulation EC 1178/2011,Annex 1 Part FCL 0.55 (c). EASA referred to the "experience gained in different member states" as a reason for extending re-qualification for language proficiency level 4 to 4 years rather than the 3 recommended by ICAO.
Could you provide all the documentation relating to the "experienced gained in different member states" that were used by EASA to extend the re-qualification period.
Yours faithfully,
Mick Mc Donnell

Dear Cosgrove Orna,
Thank you for your reply.
The link on the reply you gave doesn't work and some investigation of the EASA site brought me to a general review of the CRD relating to the regulations mentioned in my initial application. Could you direct me to or provide me with the actual 120 or so comments made made relating to Part 0.55. These comments were the basis for the decision referred to in the initial application and as such constitute the documents I have requested.
Yours sincerely,
Mick Mc Donnell

Dear Cosgrove Orna,
If at all possible could you provide me with the information as requested on the 3rd of April or provide a link to the actual documentation requested or would your advice be to make another request with the specific information itemised?
Yours sincerely,
