Dear Human Resources and Security (HR),

Thanks for this reply. To clarify, does this mean that there are no seconded national experts working within the Commission who do not come from or who are not paid by national, regional or local public administration or a public intergovernmental organisation?

I'd appreciate your clarification.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Ms Cann,

Further to your message from 19 December 2014 which follows up on the
Commission's answer to you regarding the access to document request
2014/4471, we would like to clarify that national experts can be seconded
to the Commission according to the rules laid down in the Commission
Decision C(2008)6866 and that there are several national experts currently
working in the Commission.

As indicated in our reply sent to you on 19 December 2014
(Ares(2014)4291270), we have not identified any document held by the
Commission corresponding to your specific request, which would show "the
number, names and country of origin of all seconded national experts
working within the Commission", as well as "the number, names and country
of origin of all external persons working within the Commission who do not
come from or who are not paid by national, regional or local public
administration or a public intergovernmental organisation. "

We hope that this has clarified your point.

Sincerely yours,

HR.B1
