Dear Human Resources and Security (HR),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting all documentation relating to Commission decisions made about the job move by Mr Johannes Nitschke, from the EU delegation to the US, to become a senior account executive at G+ in 2010.

Specifically, I would like to receive all his EU job titles and the dates that these posts were held, the date of his application for permission to move to G+, the date of the official EU response, whether or not the job move was approved, the reasons given, and any conditions that the EU attached to the approval of this external post at G+.

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

DG-HR ultimately replied:

"On 30 November 2011, pursuant to Regulation No 1049/2001, you requested access to "all documentation relating to Commission decisions made about the job move by Mr Johannes Nitchke, from the EU delegation to the US, to become a senior account executive at G+ in 2010."

I would like to inform you that above-mentioned person did not need an authorisation to exercise an activity after leaving the Commission because he was a trainee during his time at the Commission. Such staff are not subject to Article 16 of the Staff Regulations."
