Lobbying on REACH revision

La demande est réussie.

Dear Environment,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request access to the following documents related to the REACH Revision:

1. A list of all meetings/ discussions that have taken place since 1st December 2021 between officials and or Commissioners with representatives of Cosmetics Europe, A.I.S.E. (Association Internationale de la Savonnerie, de la Détergence et des Produits d'Entretien), and the Downstream Users of Chemicals Co-ordination Group (DUCC).

2. Any records, minutes or notes of these meetings/discussions.

3. Any briefings prepared for these meetings.

4. All correspondence exchanged since 1st December 2021 (including SMS & any other type of messages processed through phone apps - eg., WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram etc, recorded voice messages, emails, letters and attached documents) between officials and or Commissioners with representatives of these industry associations.

In the interests of good administration, I request that the response clearly identifies the documents held by the Commission in relation to each of these categories and clearly indicates to which category the disclosed documents relate.

To the extent possible, my strong preference is to receive documents in electronic format

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

ENV-ACCESS-DOCUMENTS@ec.europa.eu,

Dear Ms Cann,

We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 26/01/2023 under case number EASE 2023/0549.

We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 17/02/2023.

An extended time limit as the application concerns documents held by
different Services and third parties, which must be consulted.

Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
time limit expires on 13/03/2023.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kind regards,

Nevyana Petrova
